Recap: Cincinnati vs. Seattle

Goodyear, AZ (Sports Network) - Jesus Montero hit a grand slam and drove in six runs as the Seattle Mariners pounded the Cincinnati Reds, 16-0, in spring training action.

Justin Smoak went 2-for-2 with three RBI and three runs scored while Michael Saunders was 3-for-4 with a solo home run, two RBI and three runs scored for the Mariners. Brandon Maurer gave up six hits and a walk with seven strikeouts over five innings.

Homer Bailey was pounded for nine runs -- eight earned -- on nine hits with a pair of walks in just 3 1/3 innings for the Reds. Zack Cozart had two of the eight hits for the team.
