Recap: Colorado vs. Milwaukee

Scottsdale, AZ (Sports Network) - Kyle Lohse worked 3 2/3 solid innings in a belated first start of the spring during the Milwaukee Brewers' 6-2 victory over the Colorado Rockies.

Lohse, signed to a three-year contract by Milwaukee on Monday after an extended stay on the free-agent market, yielded just one run on four hits and struck out two without a walk in his Brewers' debut.

Milwaukee received a contribution from another newcomer in the win, as recently acquired infielder Yuniesky Betancourt went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer to pace the club offensively. Betancourt was signed by the Brewers this week as well.

Aramis Ramirez and Jean Segura each finished 2-for-3 for Milwaukee, with Ramirez driving in a pair of runs.

Tyler Massey had a solo home run for the Rockies, with Carlos Gonzalez chipping in an RBI double in the loss.

Colorado starter Nick Schmidt lasted just three innings and was reached for five runs on seven hits.
