Howie Kendrick added two hits, two RBI ans two runs scored, J.B. Shuck also drove in a pair, while Albert Pujols hit safely twice and drove in a run for the Halos.

Jason Vargas gave up a run on two hits, fanning five over 4 2/3 innings for the win.

Blake Tekotte knocked in a pair and Dewayne Wise added a solo homer in the ChiSox setback.

John Danks was punctured in defeat for seven hits and six runs over 3 1/3 frames.
