Recap: Chicago WSox vs. Oakland

Glendale, AZ (Sports Network) - Hector Gimenez went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored as the Chicago White Sox posted an 11-5 win over the Oakland Athletics in spring training action.

Jordan Danks had two hits and drove in two runs, while Alexei Ramirez, Angel Sanchez and Steve Tolleson each scored twice for the White Sox, who totaled 17 hits in the game. Chris Sale gave up five runs on seven hits over five-plus innings in the start.

Josh Donaldson hit a solo home run and drove in two, while Michael Taylor added three RBI for the Athletics. Starter Jarrod Parker gave up seven runs -- five earned -- on nine hits over three-plus innings of work.
