Recap: Kansas City vs. Los Angeles

Surprise, AZ (Sports Network) - Salvador Perez drove in a pair of runs as the Kansas City Royals earned an 8-2 spring training win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Alex Gordon and Alcides Escobar each went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI for the Royals, whose starter, Wade Davis, allowed two runs -- one earned -- on four hits and three walks over five innings.

Former Royal Zack Greinke was touched for five runs on six hits and three walks in just three-plus innings for the Dodgers, whose only RBI came from Matt Kemp.

Smith replaces Larson for Martinsville race

Regan Smith substituted for Kyle Larson in the No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet in Sunday's Sprint Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway after Larson was sidelined due to additional medical tests following his fainting spell on Saturday.
