Tempe, AZ (Sports Network) - Garrett Richards spun 2 1/3 scoreless innings of three-hit baseball and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim defeated the Texas Rangers, 6-3, in spring training action.

Kaleb Cowart hit a two-RBI triple while Luis Rodriguez, Chris Snyder and John Hester each knocked in a run for the Angels.

Adrian Beltre, Lance Berkman and Leury Garcia drove in a run apiece for the Rangers, who saw starter Brad Mills allow just one run on four hits and a walk over four frames.
