Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Eduardo Nunez finished with two hits and two RBI as the Yankees downed Washington, 4-2.

Kevin Youkilis added a solo homer for the Yanks, who play at Army on Saturday in their final exhibition contest.

Vernon Wells doubled among his two hits and also scored a run for New York, while Andy Pettitte allowed five hits and one earned run in six innings for the win.

Adam LaRoche and Ian Desmond drove in a run each for the Nationals, who completed their spring slate and host Miami in their 2013 opener on Monday.
