Recap: New Orleans vs. Miami

Metairie, LA (Sports Network) - Placido Polanco belted a pair of home runs and finished with five RBI to lead the Miami Marlins to a 7-0 victory over their Triple-A affiliate, the New Orleans Zephyrs, in a final preseason tune-up.

Polanco had a two-run homer in the first inning and a three-run shot in the second, with both blasts coming off Zephyrs starter Brad Hand. Isaac Galloway had a solo homer later on for Miami, with Juan Pierre and Austin Kearns each finishing 2-for-3 in the win.

Wade LeBlanc added four perfect innings on the mound for the Marlins, who head to Washington for Monday's regular season opener.

Hand surrendered six runs in all on eight hits over four innings of work.
