Recap: LA Angels vs. Italy

Tempe, AZ (Sports Network) - Kaleb Cowart went 2-for-2 with three RBI and a run scored as the Los Angeles Angels took a 12-6 win over Italy on Wednesday.

Scott Cousins hit a solo home run and drove in two runs while Randal Grichuk also drove in two for the Angels, who totaled 14 hits and seven walks in the game. Jered Weaver gave up just one run on three hits in three innings of starting work.

Alex Liddi hit a two-run home run and drove in three for Italy, which got two hits, an RBI and a run scored from Lorenzo Avagnina. Carlos Richetti gave up four runs on five hits with three walks in three innings of work.
