Recap: San Diego vs. Netherlands

Peoria, AZ (Sports Network) - Andruw Jones hit a solo homer and added an RBI single in leading the Netherlands to a 9-3 exhibition win over the San Diego Padres.

Diegomar Markwell allowed one unearned run in his two innings on the hill for the Dutch, who also got two hits and two RBI from both Xander Bogaerts and Jonathan Schoop.

The Netherlands will play the Pool 2 winner in the World Baseball Classic semifinals on Monday.

Eric Stults was touched for two runs on four hits in his four-inning start for San Diego, which got a two-run homer from Jaff Decker in the loss.
