Recap: Minnesota vs. Milwaukee

Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Oswaldo Arcia hit a three-run homer and drove in four runs to power the Minnesota Twins to a 6-4 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday.

Josh Willingham went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI while Trevor Plouffe knocked in a run with an eighth-inning single for the Twins, who have won three of their last four.

Ricky Nolasco (4-5) earned the win after giving up four runs on six hits with seven strikeouts in seven innings of work.

"We battled really well today," Nolasco said. "I thought the defense made some really good plays."

Aramis Ramirez, who was activated off the disabled list prior to the game, had a three-run blast and Mark Reynolds contributed two hits and an RBI as the Brewers dropped their second in a row.

Starter Marco Estrada did not factor in the decision after giving up four runs on six hits with three walks across six frames. Rob Wooten (1-3) was tagged with the loss after giving up a run in the seventh.

"I thought we had it," Estrada said. "It's unfortunate the way this game turned out."

Jonathan Lucroy and Carlos Gomez both singled before Ramirez drove them in with a three-run shot to center, tying the game at 4-4 in the seventh.

Arcia and Plouffe both supplied RBI singles in the bottom half of the frame as Minnesota regained the lead.

Glen Perkins pitched a 1-2-3 ninth inning to earn his 16th save of the season.

The Brewers opened the scoring in the second when Rickie Weeks doubled to left and Reynolds brought him home after a two-base hit on a line drive to center.

Brian Dozier walked and Willingham singled before Arcia drove a fastball over the wall in right, staking the Twins to a 3-1 advantage in the fourth.

The Twins added run in the fifth. Eduardo Escobar singled, Dozier was hit by a pitch and Joe Mauer walked to load the bases with one out. Estrada issued a walked to Willingham, ushering in a Twins run.

Game Notes

Willingham has hit in eight straight games ... Mauer's interleague hitting streak ended at 20 games after he went 0-for-4 ... Mauer moved into third all- time in franchise history with 642 walks ... The Twins are 7-1 against the Brewers since June 17, 2012.
