Recap: Arizona vs. Miami

Phoenix, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - David Peralta drove in three runs to lead the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 9-1 victory over the Miami Marlins in the opener of a three-game series on Monday.

Peralta doubled, tripled and scored twice, while Miguel Montero drove in two runs and Martin Prado homered for the Diamondbacks, who are 6-1 in their last seven games at home against the Marlins.

"Guys came out and scored some runs early," said Arizona All-Star first baseman Paul Goldschmidt. "That was big."

Chase Anderson (6-4), who entered the game with four straight losses, surrendered just one run on seven hits with eight strikeouts over six solid innings.

Adeiny Hechavarria drove in the Marlins' lone run with a sacrifice fly and Garrett Jones doubled twice among his three hits for Miami, which has lost three of its last five games.

Tom Koehler (6-7) was pelted for seven runs on eight hits across three-plus innings in defeat.

"Command was off, had a tough time throwing his fastball for strikes," Marlins manager Mike Redmond said of Koehler.

The Diamondbacks got on the board with a five-run second inning. Prado led off the frame by crushing a 2-0 fastball into the left-field seats. Peralta and Montero both supplied two-run doubles to give Arizona an early 5-0 lead.

Arizona took an 8-0 lead in the fourth. Ender Inciarte bunted to get aboard and came home on Peralta's triple off the wall in center field, which ended Koehler's night.

Goldschmidt greeted Jacob Turner with an RBI double to center and came home two batters later when Aaron Hill flied out to right.

Casey McGehee led off the sixth for Miami with a base hit to right and later came home on Hechavarria's sac fly to make it an 8-1 game.

Gerardo Parra doubled to left with two outs in the seventh and came home on Didi Gregorious' deep triple to center to account for the final score.
