Recap: Miami vs. Arizona

Miami, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Giancarlo Stanton homered and drove in four runs to highlight an offensive barrage that gave the Miami Marlins a 10-3 rout over the Arizona Diamondbacks in the finale of a four-game series.

Marcell Ozuna and Jarrod Saltalamacchia each knocked in a pair of runs, Garrett Jones hit a solo homer and Christian Yelich went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI as the Marlins climbed back to .500 (62-62) by taking three of four in the set.

The outburst backed a quality start from Tom Koehler (9-9), who struck out seven over six innings and only allowed two runs on six hits.

Two of Arizona's runs came in the sixth with Miami already leading 5-0, as Mark Trumbo got the D-backs on the board with an RBI double and Jake Lamb singled in Cliff Pennington.

Still, the Diamondbacks were unable to overcome a poor outing from Josh Collmenter (8-7), as the right-hander surrendered five runs on seven hits over just four frames.

"He just didn't have any of his good stuff at all," Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson said of his starter.

Collmenter dug himself an early hole with two poorly located off-speed pitches in the first inning. Stanton crushed a towering shot to left with two runners on for his MLB-leading 32nd home run, and Jones sent a hanging curveball off the scoreboard beyond the right-field wall two batters later.

"It was good to come out and score four in the first," Marlins manager Mike Redmond said. "We've been waiting...to give ourselves a cushion so we don't have to pitch so perfect."

Yelich's RBI double in the fourth made it a 5-0 game, and the Marlins blew it open with a five-run seventh.

Randall Delgado was charged with all five runs, though he was pulled after giving up an RBI single to Stanton and a two-run double to Ozuna.

Saltalamacchia greeted Bradin Hagens with a two-run base hit, while Ender Inciarte's RBI single in the ninth accounted for the final score.

Game Notes

Stanton upped his RBI total to 88, topping his career best of 87 set in 2011 ... Inciarte extended his hitting streak to 17 with a bunt single in the sixth ... Arizona's previous five games were all decided by one run.
