Recap: Washington vs. NY Mets

Washington, DC (SportsNetwork.com) - Wednesday's game between the New York Mets and Washington Nationals was postponed due to rain.

The game will be made up Thursday as part of a split doubleheader, with the first game starting at 1:05 p.m. ET. The second game will start at 7:05.

The Nationals will play consecutive doubleheaders as they seek to secure the best record in the National League and home-field advantage throughout the NL playoffs. Washington already had a doubleheader against the Marlins scheduled for Friday.
