Port Charlotte, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Alex Gonzalez's two-RBI single highlighted a three-run first inning that carried the Baltimore Orioles to a 4-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays in a Grapefruit League clash.

Gonzalez finished 2-for-3 and Steve Clevenger and Francisco Peguero also collected a pair of hits for Baltimore, with Clevenger singling in the Orioles' initial run.

Baltimore starter Chris Tillman was sharp in his spring debut, fanning three while yielding just one hit over the first two innings.

Counterpart Erik Bedard struggled for Tampa Bay, surrendering three runs on three hits and a pair of walks in his lone inning of work.
