Recap: Baltimore vs. Boston

Sarasota, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Brock Holt, Will Middlebrooks and Ryan Lavarnway each hit solo homers to lead the Boston Red Sox over the Baltimore Orioles in Grapefruit League action, 6-5, at Ed Smith Stadium.

Allen Webster started for the Red Sox and allowed two runs on two hits, with three walks and three strikeouts, in 3 1/3 innings. A.J. Pierzynski added three hits and drove in a run and Daniel Nava had two hits and drove in a run for the Red Sox.

Miguel Gonzalez started for the Orioles and yielded two runs on four hits in three innings.
