Recap: Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh

Sarasota, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Jonathan Schoop and Andrew McCutchen hit solo homers for their teams in the ninth inning, as the Pittsburgh Pirates and Baltimore Orioles played to a 7-7 tie in a Grapefruit League game Sunday.

Schoops' homer in the bottom of the ninth was one of four on the day for the Orioles and came after McCutchen homered in the top of the inning to give the Pirates a 7-6 lead.

Chris Davis and Nick Markakis each added a solo shot and Ryan Flaherty hit a two-run homer for Baltimore. Kevin Gausman fanned eight through four innings while surrendering one run for the Orioles.

Starling Marte cranked a solo home run, Jordy Mercer drove in three and Tony Sanchez and Gerrit Cole picked up an RBI apiece to round out the scoring for the Pirates. Cole allowed six runs and struck out five through 6 2/3 innings on the hill.
