Recap: Boston vs. Baltimore

Fort Myers, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Steve Clevenger hit a home run for the second time this spring and the Baltimore Orioles clipped the Boston Red Sox, 5-4, in spring training action on Wednesday.

Miguel Gonzalez tossed five innings for Baltimore, allowing four runs on seven hits. With the O's trailing 4-3 in the sixth, Ryan Flaherty doubled in a run and scored on a Jemile Weeks single to right for the deciding tally. Evan Meek saved it by striking out the side in the ninth.

Xander Bogaerts and Will Middlebrooks homered for Boston, while Allen Webster was tagged for all five runs on 11 hits over 5 2/3 frames.
