Recap: Minnesota vs. Baltimore

Fort Myers, FL ( - Brandon Waring's solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning enabled the Minnesota Twins to force a 2-2 tie with the Baltimore Orioles in spring training action.

Eduardo Escobar finished 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Twins. Starter Mike Pelfrey allowed one run on five hits over 3 1/3 innings.

Henry Urrutia went 2-for-4 with a solo homer for Baltimore, while Steve Clevenger and Jonathan Schoop also added two hits apiece.

Orioles starter Wei-Yin Chen yielded one run on three hits over four innings.
