Recap: Philadelphia vs. Atlanta

Clearwater, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Matt Lipka scored the tying run on a fluke play in the top of the ninth, allowing Atlanta to forge a 2-2 deadlock with Philadelphia in Grapefruit League action.

With Jose Constanza on third, Lipka hit a grounder to second that was taken by Cesar Hernandez, who threw home to try and get the runner. In the midst of a rundown, Brad Lincoln tagged out Constanza but threw wild to third in an attempt to erase Lipka, allowing him to cross the plate.

Steven Lerud picked up three hits, while B.J. Upton doubled among his two hits for the Braves. Joey Terdoslavich was credited with his club's lone RBI.

Starter Brandon Beachy worked three innings, failing to give up a hit or a run.

Kevin Frandsen finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and Tony Gwynn, Jr. drove in the other run for the Phils.

Sean O'Sullivan fanned two in three scoreless innings, allowing only three hits and one walk.
