Recap: Oakland vs. Milwaukee

Phoenix, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Luke Montz's two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning lifted the Oakland Athletics to a 6-4 win over the Milwaukee Brewers in spring training action.

The A's trailed 4-3 entering their half of the ninth, but drew even when Bruce Maxwell doubled off Johnny Hellweg and Max Muncy followed with an RBI single ahead of Montz's game-winning blast.

John Jaso homered earlier for Oakland, while Michael Taylor finished 3-for-3 with a run scored.

Brewers starter Wily Peralta tossed three shutout innings, yielding just one hit and a walk while striking out three. Jonathan Lucroy, Logan Schafer and Caleb Gindl all collected two hits in the loss.
