Phoenix, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Nick Punto went 2-for-3 with two RBI as the Oakland Athletics took a 6-2 win over the Chicago Cubs on Monday.

Brandon Moss had two hits, scored twice and drove in a run for the Athletics. Oakland starter Joe Savery gave up two hits and a walk with five strikeouts over two innings.

Jonathan Mota hit a two-run home run to account for Chicago's runs. Yao-Lin Wang gave up two runs on two hits with a walk and a strikeout in 1 1/3 innings.
