Recap: St. Louis vs. Miami

Jupiter, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Adeiny Hechavarria drove in three runs and Henderson Alvarez fired three perfect innings in the Miami Marlins' 7-3 Grapefruit League victory over the St. Louis Cardinals.

Alvarez struck out two while retiring all nine batters he faced, with Hechavarria delivering a pair of sacrifice flies as well as an RBI double in three plate appearances.

Giancarlo Stanton added a two-run double in the win, while Christian Yelich and Donovan Solano each collected two hits for Miami.

Matt Adams went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer to pace the Cardinals offensively. Adam Wainwright was nearly spotless over the first two innings, yielding just one hit while fanning one.
