Recap: St. Louis vs. Miami

Jupiter, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Garrett Jones hit a two-run homer and Jose Fernandez tossed two scoreless innings in his spring debut, helping the Miami Marlins to a 5-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals.

Fernandez, last year's National League Rookie of the Year and third-place finisher in voting for the Cy Young Award, yielded a pair of singles and struck out two.

Jake Marisnick added an RBI triple for Miami and Ty Wigginton had a run- scoring double in the victory.

Patrick Wisdom belted a two-run homer and Yadier Molina went 2-for-3 for the Cardinals. Carlos Martinez worked the first three innings, fanning two and surrendering Jones' blast in the top of the first.

Broncos' Clady tears ACL

Peyton Manning will have to make do without his blind-side protector for the 2015 season, as the Denver Broncos announced that Pro Bowl left tackle Ryan Clady tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during Wednesday's OTA session.

Indians put Santana on paternity list

The Cleveland Indians will be without first baseman Carlos Santana for at least part of their weekend series with the Seattle Mariners due to the birth of his daughter.
