Recap: San Francisco vs. Oakland

San Francisco, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Sam Fuld hit a three-run triple in the sixth inning to boost the Oakland Athletics to a 4-1 win over the San Francisco Giants at AT&T Park.

John Jaso added a solo homer for the A's, who host Cleveland in their season opener on Monday.

Jesse Chavez allowed one hit and fanned five over 5 1/3 shutout innings.

Joaquin Arias drove in the lone run for the Giants, who saw Tim Lincecum allow just one run on three hits over four innings.

Lincecum, however, left the game after taking a line drive to the back of his left knee. He was helped off the field, but X-rays were negative.

San Francisco will open the season in Arizona on Monday.
