Recap: Detroit vs. NY Yankees

Lakeland, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Yangervis Solarte smacked a three-run homer as part of a five-run seventh and Brian McCann added a solo shot as the New York Yankees defeated the Detroit Tigers, 7-4, in spring training action.

Jose Pirela cracked a two-run blast in the seventh and Gary Sanchez launched a solo homer in the third for the Yankees, who led 7-0 following their five-run seventh. Starter Adam Warren yielded a pair of hits and walks over two scoreless frames.

Max Scherzer tossed two innings of one-run ball, allowing a hit while fanning two for Detroit, which got three hits, an RBI and a run scored from Steven Moya.
