Recap: Detroit vs. St. Louis

Lakeland, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Nick Castellanos was 2-for-3 with a two-run homer to help lead the Detroit Tigers to an 8-5 win over the St. Louis Cardinals in Grapefruit League action on Monday.

Austin Jackson went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI and Victor Martinez had two hits and an RBI for the Tigers. Drew Smyly earned the win despite giving up a pair of homers in just three innings of work.

Jhonny Peralta went 2-for-2 with a pair of homers against his former club and James Ramsey drove in a pair for the Cardinals.
