Recap: Detroit vs. Houston

Lakeland, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Ian Kinsler led Detroit's 18-hit outburst by going 3-for-3 with two home runs and four RBI as the Tigers rolled to a 14-3 win over the Houston Astros in a Grapefruit League contest.

Tyler Collins and Danny Worth also collected three hits, with Collins belting a solo homer and scoring three times and Worth knocking in three runs. Torii Hunter also finished with three RBI as part of a 2-for-3 day, while Nick Castellanos added two hits as well, including an RBI double.

Ten of Detroit's runs came over the first two innings, with all charged to Astros starter Lucas Harrell. The right-hander was pounded for 12 hits and nine earned runs while lasting just 1 2/3 innings.

Max Scherzer worked the first 4 2/3 innings for the Tigers, striking out six while being touched for three runs on five hits.

Robbie Grossman paced Houston at the plate by going 2-for-3 with a solo homer.
