Recap: San Francisco vs. LA Angels

Scottsdale, AZ ( - Matt Cain tossed three scoreless innings in his spring debut to help the San Francisco Giants post a 3-2 victory over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in a Cactus League matchup.

Cain faced one batter over the minimum in his outing, yielding just a second- inning double to Collin Cowgill while striking out two.

Pablo Sandoval drove in two runs on a pair of singles to pace the Giants offensively. Michael Morse added an RBI double, while Gregor Blanco scored twice in the win.

Jered Weaver worked the first four innings for the Angels, allowing two runs -- one earned -- on four hits and a pair of walks.
