Recap: Atlanta vs. Washington

Lake Buena Vista, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Philip Gosselin had a three-run triple to key a four-run rally in the eighth inning that lifted the Atlanta Braves over the Washington Nationals 8-4 on Tuesday in spring training.

Edward Salcedo added a sacrifice fly in the rally and Jason Hursh pitched out of a bases-loaded jam in the ninth inning, picking up the win in two frames of work.

Kris Medlen struck out three in a three-inning start for Atlanta and Stephen Strasburg fanned one in two innings for the Nationals.

Ian Desmond hit a solo homer for Washington.
