Recap: Texas vs. Houston

San Antonio, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Jonathan Meyer's grand slam highlighted a five-run fifth inning, as Houston outslugged Texas, 13-6, in the spring finale for both clubs on Saturday.

Nolan Fontana added a three-run shot, Jesus Guzman smacked a two-run blast and George Springer hit a solo homer for the Astros, who head to the Bronx on Tuesday to begin their 2014 regular season.

Dallas Keuchel allowed six hits and five runs -- four earned -- while fanning five in his 4 1/3 inning outing.

Leonys Martin and Brent Lillibridge hit a solo homer each for the Rangers, who host Philadelphia in the season-opener on Monday.

Joe Saunders was lit up for eight hits and seven runs over 4 1/3 frames, fanning seven with two walks.
