Glendale, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Jesus Montero smacked a pair of homers and the Seattle Mariners defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers, 8-5, in spring training action.

Justin Smoak cracked a two-run shot and Stefen Romero added a solo blast for the Mariners. Starter Blake Beavan allowed three runs -- one earned -- on three hits and a walk over three innings.

Dodgers starter Josh Beckett yielded five runs on six hits and a walk over three frames. Joc Pederson launched a two-run homer and hit a double in defeat.
