Recap: Los Angeles vs. Cincinnati

Glendale, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Chris Heisey hit a three-run home run to help the Cincinnati Reds to an 8-2 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Cactus League play on Thursday.

Todd Frazier hit a solo home run and scored twice for the Reds. Alfredo Simon gave up a run on five hits with three strikeouts over 4 1/3 innings.

Hanley Ramirez hit a solo home run and Justin Turner drove in the other run for the Dodgers. Paul Maholm was banged up for six runs -- five earned -- on six hits over 2 2/3 innings of starting action.

Smith replaces Larson for Martinsville race

Regan Smith substituted for Kyle Larson in the No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet in Sunday's Sprint Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway after Larson was sidelined due to additional medical tests following his fainting spell on Saturday.
