Recap: Boston vs. Atlanta

Fort Myers, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Ryan Lavarnway drove in a pair as part of a three-run seventh innings to lead the Boston Red Sox to a 4-1 win over the Atlanta Braves in Grapefruit League action.

Jonny Gomes and Johnathan Herrera drove in one run apiece for the Red Sox. Boston starter Felix Doubront, who signed a one-year deal earlier on Friday, allowed two hits and struck out three over four scoreless frames.

Jason Heyward provided the lone run for the Braves with a homer in the sixth inning. Alex Wood allowed two hits and struck out two over three scoreless frames for Atlanta.
