Kirk Nieuwenhuis hit a three-run home run and Josh Satin smacked a solo shot for the Mets. Jon Niese was touched for four runs on six hits in just two innings.

Kolten Wong smacked a two-run home run while Allen Craig and Daniel Descalso each drove in two runs. Adam Wainwright gave up a run on two hits in 3 1/3 innings.
