Matt den Dekker, Dustin Lawley and Eric Campbell all drove in a run during that late rally for New York. Ryan Reid gave up two runs in the eighth, earning the rare blown save and victory.

Freddy Garcia tossed three scoreless innings with three strikeouts for the Braves, but Atahualpa Severino was charged with five runs while recording just one out in the final frame.

Matt Kennelly drove in a run and Tyler Greene added two hits in the setback.
