Recap: NY Yankees vs. Miami

Tampa, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Hiroki Kuroda and Masahiro Tanaka combined on a six-hit shutout Friday night as the New York Yankees beat the Miami Marlins, 3-0, in spring training.

Both pitchers gave up three hits without issuing a walk. After Kuroda struck out four in three innings, Tanaka fanned 10 the rest of the way.

The Yankees had just three hits. Two of them were RBI singles by Brian Roberts and Yangervis Solarte in the eighth inning.

Starter Kevin Slowey threw three perfect innings for the Marlins.
