Recap: Cleveland vs. Cincinnati

Goodyear, AZ ( - Chris Heisey doubled and belted a two-run homer to power the Cincinnati Reds to an 8-3 win over the Cleveland Indians in a battle between two teams knocked out in the wild card round last year.

This was the Cactus League opener for both teams.

Donald Lutz delivered an RBI triple in the eighth inning and drove in two runs for the Reds.

Alfredo Simon pitched the first two hitless innings for Cincinnati. Tim Crabbe gave up two hits and a pair of runs, but got the victory.

Trevor Bauer walked two batters over one inning in the start for the Indians. Colt Hynes surrendered two hits, a pair of walks and as many runs while recording just two outs to suffer the loss.

Ryan Rohlinger and Tony Wolters each knocked in a run for the Indians.
