Recap: Kansas City vs. Cincinnati

Surprise, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Salvador Perez went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and three RBI in the Kansas City Royals' 9-5 spring training takedown of the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday.

Eric Hosmer hammered a three-run homer and scored twice in the triumph, while Bruce Chen struck out three in three perfect innings of relief. Danny Duffy drew the start and yielded four runs -- three earned -- in two innings.

Ryan Ludwick and Todd Frazier smacked back-to-back first inning homers for the Reds, who took a 4-0 lead after the opening frame but coughed it up after KC belted 15 hits.

Cincinnati starter Johnny Cueto was tagged for six runs on seven hits in just 2 2/3 innings.
