Recap: Kansas City vs. San Francisco

Surprise, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Tim Lincecum tossed three scoreless innings, while Hunter Pence and Mark Minicozzi slugged a solo homer each as San Francisco claimed a 5-0 decision over Kansas City in Cactus League action.

Joaquin Arias and Tony Abreu also knocked in runs for the Giants. Lincecum surrendered two hits and five different relievers held KC to two hits the rest of the way.

Yordano Ventura was tagged in defeat for three hits and two runs over his three-inning stint for the Royals.
