Recap: Milwaukee vs. Kansas City

Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Logan Schafer had three hits and drove in two runs as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Kansas City Royals, 7-2, in the spring training finale for both teams.

Jonathan Lucroy's double brought in two runs and Michael Ratterree stroked a solo home run for the Brewers. Marco Estrada surrendered only two hits and struck out four batters in a scoreless five innings. Milwaukee will open its regular season at home against Atlanta on Monday.

The Royals scored both of their runs in the ninth inning off a Ramon Hernandez double and a Justin Maxwell single. Starter Yordano Ventura gave up three runs on four hits with five strikeouts and two walks across three innings. Kansas City will begin its 2014 campaign in Detroit on Monday.
