Recap: Texas vs. Kansas City

Surprise, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Mike Moustakas went 2-for-2 with three RBI and Billy Butler finished 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored as the Kansas City Royals pounded the Texas Rangers 11-1 in Cactus League action on Friday.

Alex Gordon added a pair of hits and an RBI and Christian Colon drove in a pair for the Royals. James Shields hurled a perfect inning to earn the win.

Brent Lillibridge drove in the lone run for the Rangers, who missed the playoffs last season for the first time since 2009.
