Recap: Seattle vs. San Diego

Peoria, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Ryan Jackson went 2-for-4 with three RBI and the San Diego Padres took care of the Seattle Mariners, 7-2, on Friday.

Will Venable also went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI for the Padres, who saw starter Ian Kennedy allow two runs over 5 2/3 innings with seven strikeouts.

Robinson Cano and Brad Miller each knocked in a run for Seattle, which saw starter James Paxton give up three runs over four innings of work with four strikeouts.
