Scottsdale, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Brandon Barnes went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored to help the Colorado Rockies defeat the Seattle Mariners 2-1 in the Cactus League finale for both teams.

Barnes and Cesar Galvez had RBI singles for the Rockies, who play the Marlins in Miami on Monday in their season-opener. Franklin Morales allowed one run and struck out five over 5 1/3 innings on the hill.

Kyle Seager hit an RBI single for the Mariners, who play the Angels in Anaheim on Monday in their season-opener. Chris Young threw 4 2/3 scoreless innings and allowed four hits while fanning two in his first start since signing with Seattle.
