Recap: Texas vs. Colorado

Surprise, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Paul Janish and Cristhian Adames each hit two-run singles as part of a Colorado six-run seventh inning and the Rockies defeated the Texas Rangers, 8-2, in spring training action.

Charlie Culberson smacked a solo homer among his three hits, scored twice and drove in a run for the Rockies, who got five strikeouts from starter Franklin Morales. He allowed an unearned run on three hits over three innings.

Starter Tommy Hanson yielded two runs on five hits over three frames for Texas. Prince Fielder ripped an RBI single in defeat.
