Surprise, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Shin-Soo Choo smacked a solo homer and scored twice as the Texas Rangers and San Francisco Giants played to a 4-4 tie in spring training action.

Adrian Beltre, who went 0-for-2, left the game in the fifth inning due to a tight left quad muscle. Texas starter Martin Perez yielded a run on three hits and two walks over three innings.

Andrew Susac cracked a solo shot among his two hits for the Giants. Starter Ryan Vogelsong allowed a run on four hits and a walk over five frames.
