Mesa, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Rosell Herrera hit a two-run single during a four-run run seventh inning that lifted the Colorado Rockies past the Chicago Cubs 7-5 in Cactus League play.

Carlos Gonzalez doubled and drove in a pair of runs for the Rockies, whose starter, Tyler Chatwood, allowed one run on a wild pitch over 2 2/3 innings.

Cubs starter Jeff Samardzija was tagged for three runs on four hits in three innings of work, while Chicago's offense was highlighted by a pair of sixth- inning solo home runs from Javier Baez and George Kottaras.
