Scottsdale, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Tommy Medica hit a two-run homer and Alexi Amarista had a solo blast during a six-run sixth inning that catapulted the San Diego Padres to a 7-2 win Monday over the San Francisco Giants in spring training.

Yeison Asencio had a two-run single and Nick Hundley added an RBI hit during the rally. Padres starter Josh Johnson struck out two in two perfect innings.

Tyler Colvin hit a two-run single for the Giants and starter Tim Lincecum went two innings, giving up one hit and one walk with one strikeout.
