Recap: Boston vs. Boston College

Fort Myers, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Travis Shaw hit a three-run double in the fifth inning to help the Boston Red Sox claim a 5-2 victory over the Boston College Eagles in exhibition play.

Christian Vazquez hit a solo homer for the Red Sox, who saw starter Rubby De La Rosa pitch two scoreless innings.

Thomas Bourdon and Geoffrey Murphy each had an RBI for the Eagles. Eric Stevens got the start and allowed one run over one inning of work.

The Red Sox pulled out a 5-2 win over Northeastern earlier Thursday. Both games were played in seven innings.
