Jupiter, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Mark Canha went 2-for-3 with an RBI double and two runs scored as the Miami Marlins began their spring training schedule with a 5-2 win over Miami-Florida.

The Marlins trailed 1-0 after 5 1/2 innings before scoring twice in the bottom of the sixth and tacking on three more runs in the seventh. J.T. Realmuto singled home Colin Moran with the go-ahead tally in the sixth.

Marlins starter Angel Sanchez struck out two over a pair of scoreless frames.

Javier Salas spun four scoreless innings for the Hurricanes, with Dale Carey finishing 2-for-3 with a run scored and Zack Collins belting a solo homer in the loss.
